NACD Urban and Community Conservation Webinar: Model My Watershed

December 21, 2017,12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EST

Free!

The National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) featured the Model My Watershed (MMW) web app in its December Urban and Community Conservation webinar.

Miss the webinar? The recording is now available on the Videos page.

The MMW web app provides the means to easily visualize maps and model outputs that show the effects of current and possible future land uses and watershed restorations on storm water runoff and water quality. MMW is part of the free professional-grade WikiWatershed toolkit, developed by Stroud Water Research Center, that conservation practitioners, municipal decision makers, educators, and others can use to predict how proposed restoration projects and other changes to land cover will affect or improve conditions in a watershed.

The popular Urban and Community Conservation webinars, held on the third Thursday of each month, are sponsored by The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company in partnership with the NACD Urban and Community Resource Policy Group.
