Stroud Water Research Center’s Model My Watershed (MMW) web app has again been recommended by the Community for Advancing Discovery Research in Education (CADRE), a network for STEM education researchers funded by the National Science Foundation’s Discovery Research K-12 (DR K-12) program. CADRE connects researchers who are endeavoring to improve education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in, and outside of, our schools.
CADRE has recognized MMW as a tool to support modeling in science education and to help students learn how to analyze and interpret data. Watch the video to see how educators are using MMW to teach environmental sustainability, and then try the app for yourself!
Teaching Environmental Sustainability – Model My Watershed is a partnership between Millersville University, Stroud Water Research Center, Concord Consortium, and Azavea, with funded from the National Science Foundation (grant numbers 1417527, 1418133, and 1417722) and the William Penn Foundation.
