      Carol-

      There is a simple explanation for the problems you observed at SL149.  I was swapping out the sd card to upload the data that Dave requested.  I forgot to put the sensor bundle back in the water after I cleaned the turbidity window!

            Report for 4/28/20

            @wang, @eiannelli.  SL176-Schuylkill R, Bartram’s Garden.  Great to see that this site is transmitting signals again, though intermittently.  Did something change here?  DO sensor signals appear normal; turbidity is abnormally high.

              Report for 5/7/2020

              @bullard, sl113, east branch of Pickering trib.  Beginning April 29, battery began to be very flashy, and peaks have become higher.  The voltage remains >4v but goes as high as 4.639.  Let me know if you need help with maintenance.

                @lemon, @vogt, @hicks, sl121, Hunter downstream, Borger Property.  Why is battery fluctuating so rapidly, since about May 4?

                  Report for 5/30/2020

                  @lawler, sl102, Musconetcong at Riverside Park – battery steadily dropping since May 20, now at 3.8v.

                  @wilson, @troscianecki, @reeves, sl103 – turbidity is often >1000 NTU, and ranging very high.

                  @moore, @kalusky, sl150 Marsh Ck at Fairview Rd – CTD sensor stopped reading on May 27 at 4:50 p (EDT).

                    I’ll check the station tomorrow.  Any thing I should check in particular?  Maybe a beaver chewed thru the cable – had that happen before!

                      Report for 6/6/20

                      @collins, sl158, Primrose Ck upstream at Solebury Sch.  Depth went to -22mm on 6/2, and had persistently declined since 5/31 despite storm events.  Today depth was 265.7mm, and conductivity and temperature appear normal.  There was a time gap between 6/2 and 6/6, when the water depth reading recovered.

                      @griffith, @seeds, @fisher, sl168, Punches Run.  Battery has been declining since 5/28, today as low as 3.75v, recovered as high as 3.84v.

                      @williams, sl170, Chestnut Run.  Last observation on MonMW was 5/16.  I may be uninformed of changes at that station.

                        We checked BCMC4S at Fairview Rd for damage that would explain the loss of signal of the decagon sensor.  Yep! It was the dam beaver as the attached photo of Lori will show.  Anything that gets in their way they bite and they have very sharp teeth!  The cable appears to have been cut with wire cutters by vandals but since it was underwater mid channel that is very unlikely.

                        Looking for recomendations.  I think armoroed flex conduit is the solution which is what I have used at BCMC3S at Moores Rd.
