It seems to be doing better this year than last with the bigger battery pack. last one – checked on egypt run SL109. This one worries me the most – but I was able to hammer through the ice and it was about 4″ thick with water flowing below at a steady rate so the probes are deep enough to be in the running water. Watson’s Mill/Broad Run SL110 was flowing more than Mill and it was dangerous to walk on ice so I could not get to the probe, but I would estimate the ice to be about 3″ thick on edge of creek where probe is located in a pool. Below are pics from this site you can see the water…[Read more]
