      Report for 12/21

      @zador, @hutchinson, @mcgovern. SL130 (BCRC7S:W Branch Red Clay-Bucktoe Preserve). No data from this station since 12/18/20. Battery was 3.99v.

      @krogers, SL133(NHPK9S:Upper Paulinskill-Sussex C). Turbidity sensor continues to give bad values.

      @moore, @kalusky, SL150 (BCMC4S:Marsh Creek D).All stream sensor data (CTD, turbidity) is malfunctioning but station is transmitting. Battery is ~4.0v; Mayfly temp appears normal. Are the sensors out of the water?

      @shanemorgan, @weaver, @mooney, SL157 (BCMR1S:UT Middle Run at Middle Run Natural Area).  Battery dropped precipitously today, now at 3.6v.

      @ward, SL177 (BCBR1S:Broad Run upstream of Somerset). Station stopped transmitting on 12/15/20.

      @archer, SL246 (PUMC1S:Mill Creek – Silver Lake Nature Center).  Station no longer transmitting. It was transmitting intermittently on 12/7, but last values on MonMyW are from 11/28, when battery voltage was fine.

      @renzi, SL286 (SHVC2S:Valley Creek – Valley Ck Park).  No data transmitted from the site since 12/13.  Battery was 4.06v.

      SL289 (PUSR4S:Schuylkill River at SCEE).  Battery declining, now at 3.53v.

        Here are current sensor station update reports from Rachel Johnson and the Stroud Stream Monitoring Team.  Please note that new CTD sensors have black cables.
        <div>

        1. Taylor Run upstream of WC Taylor WWTP (BCTR1S) – replaced 4G cell board on 2/16/21
        2. Ridley Creek at Garrett Mill (PURC3S) – replaced 4G cell board on 2/17/21
        3. WCU Blackhorse Run (BCBE7S) – replaced 4G cell board on 2/22/21
        4. Schuylkill River at SRG (MSSR4S) SL191 – replaced 4G cell board on 3/2/21
        5. Cherry Creek: Dent (ESUCC24) – Replaced 4G cell board on 3/11/21
        6. Brodhead Creek at Pour Point (PKBH7S) SL174 – Replaced 4G cell board 3/11/21 , but found out the station has a broken CTD sensor (nonresponsive, reading -9999 on monitor).
        7. Cherry Creek on TNC Property (PKCV7S) SL278 – Replaced the Mayfly data logger and the 4G cell board on 3/11/21. Found out the Turbidity wire had been cut where it enters the logger box, and the grove cable that connected the turbidity sensor to the mayfly was missing.
        8. Ramsey Run (RAMS_MS2) SL082- Shannon replaced pelican case, mayfly logger, battery and all connectors on 3/11/21. The CTD sensor is still functioning. Shannon also attached a small solar panel to the top of the pelican case to help with keeping the battery charged.
        9. Muddy Run Tributary at 30 Broad Street, Elmer (KCMR1S)- replaced the CTD sensor 3/9/21, the replacement is covered under warranty.
        10. Forest Hill Run on Fendelander Prop ( PKFH1S) – replaced the CTD sensor (not covered under warranty), and replaced the 4G cell board.
        11. Lopatcong Ck (NHLP5S) SL120 – Replaced the CTD sensor on 3/11/210 (sensor is covered under warranty).

            After a very busy May and June, here are updates on Rachel Johnson’s work done on sensor stations:

            White Clay Creek at Egypt Run Road sensor station (SL110) – Removed sensor station on 5/25/21 as there is construction on the bridge that the station was under. Will reinstall when construction is complete.

            Sandy Run (Ardsley Wildlife Sanctuary) – Sensor Cleaning and QC training with Erin L on 6/3/21.

            Sandy Run (Roychester Park) – Replaced battery and unburied the CTD sensor on 6/3/21. The retaining pin was missing; Erin bought a new one and replaced the pin on 6/8/21.

            Octoraro Creek – Installed three new Mayfly monitoring stations on 6/8/21 that include chlorophyll sensors.

            Lubbers Run, Musconetcong River at Bloomsbury Water Company, and West Portal Brook at Woverton Road – On 6/9/21 gave Christa Reeves three new Mayfly boards (version 0.5b) with brand new 4G boards.

            Lopatcong Creek (SL120) – Replaced Mayfly board (version 0.5b) and new 4G Board on 6/9/21.

            Paulins Kill at East Crisman Road (PLDSEN-2) – On 6/9/21 replaced CTD sensor with a new Hydros21 CTD, and ran the sensor through a metal conduit. There were ants in the Pelican case; Kiera M and Rachel J cleaned out the Pelican case and tightened the cable glands.

            Paulins Kill at Spring Valley Road (PLDSEN_1) – On 6/9/21 went to replace the Pelican case because of ants in the case. We found that the CTD sensor snapped in half and broke. Rachel left a new Pelican case, new Mayfly (version 0.5b), and new 4G board (Digi Xbee) with Kiera but did not install it because there was no sensor to collect data.

            Pennypack Creek (SL112) – Replaced Mayfly board (version 0.5b) and new 4G Board on 6/10/21.
