Monitor My Watershed has many great features !  Of course, we users always want more.

Has any thought been given to integrating and thus associating Mayfly Logger site visit information with logger data on Monitor My Watershed?  Site visit information includes: logger QC data (conductivity, staff gauge depth), additional parameters measured (PH, Nitrates, Phosphates), maintenance performed, field data sheet pdf’s, photos taken, grab samples taken, and grab sample lab reports.  In this manor, all relevant information is in the same place.  The ‘chain of custody’ for information would be accessible and preserved (backed up).  Rob Tuttle

As many of you have noticed, there are currently issues with the functionality of Monitor My Watershed.  These bugs are due to the recent transfer of the system from Utah State to Limnotech servers.  Both have been Stroud partners in this project, but LimnoTech will be taking the lead on managing the system from here on out.  Engineers from LimnoTech are working out the bugs and although data are not currently accessible on Monitor My Watershed they are being stored and will be available once the current issues are resolved.

Please stay tuned for updates and feel free to post questions.

@tuttle – Providing a way to add or upload site visit information is (and has been) very much on the To-Do list for the Monitor My Watershed Data Sharing Portal.  Unfortunately, I don’t have an idea when those features will actually be available.

Monitor My Watershed is back up and running and fully functional again.  Please reply to this forum if you notice any issues and feel free to continue to post bugs and feature requests (for the record).

Nancy Lawler:  “Having trouble with Monitor My Watershed Time Series Analyst. I picked my sensors (Musconetcong at Riverside, Musconetcong at Waterloo, Paulins Kill Memory Park) I want to compare, picked conductivity sensor, picked time series analyst, put in dates and hit plot. Nada. Any suggestions?”

You should be able to go into the Datasets tab, click the sites you want, and then click all the conductivity boxes (one for each site).

@tuttle, yes linking the EnviroDIY Field Visit Data form to Monitor My Watershed is a current features request.  Hopefully this feature will be developed in 2019 – we’ll see.  Also, linking MonitorMW and ModelMW is another future goal.

@armstrong, thanks for posting about the security warning. I’ve notified our partners at LimnoTech that are responsible for the security certificate. It should be a quick fix for them to renew it.

The Monitor My Watershed website is currently set to only require https on pages where you enter usernames/passwords. I would wait to log in until the certificate has been renewed, but you should be able to view data without getting the warning by accessing http://monitormywatershed.org/browse/ (note that’s http instead of https).  I’ll post again when I hear back from LimnoTech that they’ve renewed the security certificate.

Monitor My Watershed is currently undergoing revisions and data visualization is disabled.  Data visualization continues to be available via the http://drwisensors.dreamhosters.com site.

The MMW turbidity legends do not give an indication of which is turbidity-high and -low.  This only becomes significant if there is a large gap between the two, so that one cannot tell which is more accurate for the given level.  Could the legend be changed to reflect high and low?
