Nancy Lawler and Cole Baldino are proposing that we collaboratively assemble short (1-5 minute) videos demonstrating field procedures (e.g.,  powering on/off station and light patterns, filling out data sheet, cleaning sensors, quality control procedures, downloading data, supplemental sampling, troubleshooting, winterizing)

Ideally these are one-off videos without need for editing, but if you have editing capabilities speak up.

Please volunteer for any video and respond on this thread on any topics that you would be interested in producing.

I’m wondering if anyone has developed a short document that you use in outreach to potential hosts orgs for Mayfly Monitoring Stations? Just something that lays out how the program works, what is expected of them and the basics of the technology.

Hi everyone! Check out this article posted on The Independence School’s website about how our middle school students are benefiting from water quality monitoring and usage of the sensor stations on campus. Enjoy!
